Founding Story

Two years after establishing our factory in China, we happened to visit Ho Chi Minh City, where we were deeply impressed by how similar the Vietnamese people felt to the Japanese.
We soon began developing our business in Vietnam, but struggled to achieve results and were on the verge of withdrawing. At that critical moment, our long-time interpreter, concerned about losing her job, told us, “My hometown is poor, with no work, and there are many people in need of jobs.”
We immediately traveled to her hometown and decided on the spot to build a factory there.
More than a decade has passed since then. Although we considered giving up several times along the way, LANLAN has now grown into an outstanding factory that contributes significantly to Yumine Sewing’s business.
